Capricorn 2013 Horoscope

Capricorn has a very eventful 2013 to expect. There are three planets in the sign at the start of the year, whereof two in a conjunction making them even more powerful. Important things will happen.

     The 2013 conjunction in Capricorn is between Pluto and the sun. The latter will soon move away from that position, whereas Pluto stays practically on the spot for the whole year. But the fact that they are conjunct at the outset of the year marks their importance for events all through 2013.

Planets in Capricorn

Pluto speaks of drastic change, unexpected and unavoidable, with consequences that last for long. The sun simply adds energy to this, confirming the major importance of this celestial event in 2013.

     It happens in the Zodiac sign of Capricorn, so every Capricorn will be affected. But that also reveals what kind of drastic changes are to be expected. The sign is about ambitious construction, building big structures and making them work. It's a social thing, not just something in the lives of some few individuals. Society is changing some of its basic structures.

     The 2013 world horoscope suggests that the changes mainly deal with people's homes and families - how they are organized and how life works in them. But for every Capricorn, there can be similar changes in many aspects of their lives.

     Society as a whole is a driving force in this, so resistance is hardly possible, but most Capricorns agree with where things are heading, so they're not likely to have objections. Instead, they probably engage in doing their part to help the changes along.

     Most Capricorns are affected by and involved in this, but especially those born around New Year, since that's the part of Capricorn the conjunction of 2013 occupies.

     At the start of 2013, Mercury is also in Capricorn, at the very beginning of the sign. This shows that there's a lot of communication going on, preparing for the above mentioned changes, but also in a process to find the most accurate ways to adapt communication as such to the changes.

     It occupies the minds of most Capricorns, especially at the start of 2013. Many others think of the same things. That's true for children and adults alike.

     The 2013 Pluto and sun conjunction in Capricorn has a sextile aspect to Saturn in Scorpio. The latter speaks of increasing disorder threatening society, especially within economics. The world of finance struggles against chaos during all of 2013.

     But this sextile shows that to Capricorn things work out fine, anyway. They are prepared for the crisis or know their way around it. Also, the structural changes that so many Capricorns are involved in will be a good guarantee against the crisis of the economy. For example, in another way than before, real estate will be sound investment, because the finances of it is changing.

Aspects to Capricorn

On the other side of the 2013 New Year horoscope, there's a sextile to Neptune, but it's with Mercury in Capricorn and not the Pluto and sun conjunction. It's a greatly inspiring aspect to Mercury, which represents the daily intellectual process in society and in people's minds.

     Mercury is at work to develop new forms of communication suited to the social changes described earlier. Neptune, the planet of imagination, is a splendid resource for that. In 2013 it's in Pisces, which shows that it goes off into a far-reaching quest, where dreams and fantasies are more accurate than solid reason. That's how to find new solutions, appropriate for the new social structures taking form. Mainly, the fantasies are occupied with hopes and beliefs rather than hard facts.

     Uranus in Aries forms a square to Capricorn in 2013. That is another indication of intellectual processes finding new ways to new solutions. Innovation. Uranus is the planet of insight, of advanced and deep thinking. It's not that patient in Aries, but it does boldly go in directions never before tried. It takes chances and isn't stopped by any old preconceptions.

     But it's a square, which means that this process meets with some disapproval from those born in Capricorn. They're not much for taking such chances and ignoring previous accomplishments.

     But they still see that it can lead to something, so they reluctantly allow for the process, after serious considerations, and they are quick to appreciate the results, the surprising conclusions, and adapt to them - well, make use of them.

     In short, 2013 is a very eventful year for Capricorn, with many big and lasting changes, some quite unforeseen. One can even call it adventurous, and the results are impressive.
